PEI Appointed International Distributor for Martindale Electric Company
Pittsburgh, Pa., September 10, 2002 – Pittsburgh Electrical Insulation (PEI), a manufacturer, distributor and converter of electrical insulation products with offices in Pittsburgh and Brownsville, Texas, announced today that it has become an international distributor for Cleveland-based Martindale Electric Company, toolmakers for the electrical industry for more than 85 years. PEI will distribute Martindale’s complete line of tools.
For more than 50 years, PEI has been a comprehensive source for electrical insulating materials used in the repair and building of electrical apparatus.
“Martindale serves the same markets with which we are currently involved; and it will be a good fit with our existing product lines,” T.H. “Tip” Paul, PEI president, said.
PEI is a manufacturer, distributor and converter of electrical insulation products, including mica products, polyimide film, and other high-performance electrical insulation materials for demanding high-load electrical systems in power generation, transportation, mining, off-shore drilling, automotive and other heavy industries. The company was founded in 1947.
