Pittsburgh, Pa., July 17, 2007 – Pittsburgh Electrical Insulation (PEI), a manufacturer, distributor and converter of electrical insulation products, has opened a representative office in Beijing, China. Xu Yongchun, a senior engineer and longtime associate of PEI, will head the operation. Throughout his 30-year career, Mr. Yongchun has held positions of increasing responsibility with China Petroleum Materials and Equipment Corporation, and has created joint ventures involving the production of seismic geophones in China. He has also overseen the development, design and management of various hydraulic power generation projects, and has studied the establishment of foreign joint venture enterprises. Mr. Yongchun received his technical training at Davis-Standard Corporation and is a graduate of the Taiyuan Engineering Institute, Shanxi.
