Mica-Polyimide tape and wrapper are primarily used as insulation in high voltage or high temperature application. The most common applications are tape and cell ground walls for traction armatures and also lead insulation on traction armature. This product is ideal for insulation in wind and power generator applications.
The mica paper used in our products will achieve high levels of impregnation during VPI processing. This material comes available in both a 3 mil and 4 mil version. It is available for sale in most width and roll lengths.
